No, it was made in the RIC factory. They offered the 4004Cii/5 for a while, but it didn't sell well and had problems with the pickups not being wide enough. According to John Hall, RIC's CEO, they only made 13 of them.

This one is modified with Nordstrand and Bartolini 5 string pickups to solve the problem.
