Wanted: Early 70's Fender Precision with Maple Neck

Post by David » Sun Feb 17, 2019 2:06 pm

Yeah I know, dreams are free
Anything with original paint (or traces of) considered as long as neck is straight and truss rod sound
Not expecting NOS or unmodified but I will obviously pay a higher price for older and more original
1971 Precision, 1992 Precision Plus, 1999 PB70-70US, 2010 CS Jazz Relic 64

Only one guy I know on here has that.

It’s the best bass I’ve ever played.

And no, he’ll never part with it - I gave it a crack too

I don't know of any for sale presently but they do turn up from time to time.

There was a clean fretless last year on TM (1977 IIRC) which I wanted to win but my kept crashing

Apparently I need "Bidbud"

The early '70's models have my favorite Fender font.
