I guess any amps with a dedicated tuner output is good feature to have for a tuner that does this.

Yeah but pedals are small and you could mute the sound with you foot quick like.
I should keep out of this thread. I don't even use a tuner on stage

I now use our guitar players tuner before gigs as i found out my korg tuner gave a slightly different pitch to his muti-effect pedal tuner.

A good floor / pedal / mute tuner is a must for any bassist or guitarist, in my opinion.
If you practice or perform with two basses and want a tuner with two inputs, I'd highly recommend the Korg Pitchblack Plus. Basically it's a kick ass chromatic tuner and a AB switch.
It mounted to my pedal board full time now.
I love having the ability to plug two basses in at once and do so frequently.
