Well he does have an image to protect. If he was seen using 91 unleaded what would the public think of him? I had him picked for the Ferndale Strangler too. (I lost $10 on that one).

we had a bet running too, made myself 25$. yeah.
his son tried to hop in my car :shock: ( we both have white nissan station wagons, guess you could say we got a lot in common , or not) then yeesterday i saw robin? (is that her name used to be on shorts and outragious fortune.) at the same gas station.

One of the best Ive seen was the original INCUBUS bassist - he was awesome and much better than his replacement I must say...:/

definitely Doug Wimbish! I saw him play with Tackhead at the Powerstation (quite a few years ago now...but still the best gig I've been to! )...he also did a clinic with Keith Le Blanc at the rockshop in K'Rd...a freestyle bass and drum jam. :D

Aston "Family Man" Barrett for The Wailers. Opened up for them in 2004 at St James. True legend on the Bass.

Well ... I've seen a few of my faves. Saw Jaco with Weather Report in London back in 1980. Amazing! Abe Laboriel here in Christchurch a few years back. And Chris Squire with Yes a few times. There's been quite a few top drawer bassists in touring bands here the last few years, actually - Melvin Davis, Freddy Washington, Pino Palladino ...
