so you cant buy any jap fender stuff new ex-japan anymore - I'll take a flaming for my love for the jap fender stuff.
but next time i buy a bass - here's the second hand stuff they can ship,.,.,
Timi and irvin have played my jap 75 reissue i got new from these guys when the dollar was really good and I didn't have children.,. :cry:

I've got quite a lot of used stuff from Ishibashi, when the dollar vs the yen is in our favor it's a goldmine.

Oh my goodness... Used MIJ J-bass for only 42,800 yen...

FYI it's about 17000 yen to ship a bass to NZ, although that was a few years ago....

I would have no hesitation buying a MIJ Fender,I reckon they(Japanese) build quite decent instruments,my MIJ 2004 Gretsch is pretty well faultless in build quality.

I'm seriously thinking of getting a Precision,got 2 Jazz's,maybe a nice MIJ jobby would suffice ?
