Re: TC Electronics Class D Amplifiers

Hi John,
Do you run your RH450 through TC Cabs?
My local music room man Drew is tempting me with a new Hartke Hydrive 4 x 10 cab he's got in the store. Do you think you could run the TC classic 450 through that cab?
I'm also looking at the Ashdown Mibass 550.
cheers

TC Electronics Class D Amplifiers

Hi, I have looked through the threads and not seen any thing relating to this topic so I thought I'd start a new one. I am considering the TC Classic 450 amp at present on trade me as well as the BH250 which can be got from the bass shop in Australia. I listened the other night to the bass player wi...

most gripes have been regarding the pre-amp / pick ups wh9ich is nearly always the deal with low-mid priced gear.
Lucky for me someone else bid and I was let off the hook. Phew! You learn not to be so impulsive.

Re: Show us your Bass!

I like your choice of bass guitars,be careful 2 turn into 3,and 3 become 4 etc :D Thanks Pins Well actually I am on the search for a five string active to round out my collection and have a bit of fun with different sounds. My local shop is getting me a Cort Artisan A5 to try out and I'm quite inte...

Re: Show us your Bass!

Yes I can read Treble clef ok enough that I can play a standard such as i.e. 'Stolen Moments' or 'Satin Doll' and I am am getting better at bass clef slowly. Sometimes I get a bit confused with bass clef notes such as E on the staff, I think its a C. Its funny how some notes fall into place quite qu...

Re: Show us your Bass!

Hi Here are my two present basses. I've been playing for a few months now. I mainly play with a woman singer songwriter here in Gisborne. I enjoy the process of having my bass lines tailored to a song and being new to the bass it's a good learning curve as I am steadily learning the note positions a...

Re: What's hot on Trademe right now!

Yes I would agree. I put in a bid on this bass as I thought even if its a Toby pro it's a bit different and the reviews you read about Toby pros are not that bad. But I would not want to pay much more for it. Who knows someone may outbid me and that's ok. From my research on the internet it's defini...
