Re: Learning a 'difficult / tricky' song

All of the above is great... I'll listen to a song on repeat mode during work again and again till I'm sick of it.

Re: Had a Doh' moment at rehearsal!

Yep just last week.... learnt the wrong style of Red House by Hendrix off Spotify. These online music sites like this have so many versions it's very easy to do.
To assume is to make an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me'.

Re: Whats the favourite gig....

Well it's not memorable yet but I'm hoping it's about to be. On Wednesday we head over to UK to do a crazy 3 week junket to play in London, Glastonbury (yes, the Glastonbury music festival), Belgium, and the Montreux Jazz Festival. I'm especially hoping that Glasto and Montreux will become my memor...

I have the MB500 and even with a small cab it's loud, couldn't imagine needing the extra power of the MB800.
You've had yours a fair while now timi... has it been reliable?

Re: BPNZ User Youtube Thread!

thanks for that link... I did have some software on my old computer that did the trick. My old band in Chch did a video (handy-cam on a tripod) a few years ago and when I downloaded the files onto the computer they were about 1.2gig each! but was able to 'cut' them into individual songs.... I think...

Re: BPNZ User Youtube Thread!

Not exactly a Youtube clip of any sorts, but this is a clip that i made/recorded a little while ago. I had recently got a copy of Ableton and was figuring out how to record through a audio interface + how to use SoundCloud to post music. I have done proper/much better quality recordings since then,...

Re: A place where you could go to build your own bass with tutoring/guidance

A friend started building guitars from home about a couple of years ago and is loving it.
Spent quite a bit on good tools but he's starting to get the hang of it and is producing some nice instruments.
If you can get someone to step you through the whole process would be fantastic.

I've got one of those MB800's or the older MB500 on my wish list Marty. Are you gonna get one?
