I think bass players can fall into the trap of basing their tone over what sounds good when they're fiddling with gear and fine tuning their sound by themselves, forgetting that not all that sound will mix well. Whenever these threads come up on bass strings where everyone is knocked out by one string I always check it out and it's always the same -flatwound steels

LaBella deep talkin' bass strings and warwick black labels might float your boat if you like these

I've got one of these. I got it when the rock shop had it on "sale" for $800 It's a really great pedal. Most of the effects are top notch, and there's just so much you can do with it, even has a computer interface. You've got to put in some time learning the ins and out to really get your money's wo...

Ever since I touched my first rockbass I can't see myself buying anything other than a warwick. I love the sound, the versatility, and who the hell says warwicks are ugly?


...well ok maybe those thumb things but the corvette, especially the oil finished ones, are a fine piece of (b)ass
