Re: BPNZ User Youtube Thread!

Thanks! Yeah mate it's (another!) new one. Went into the shop to pick up an Ashdown 2x10 and left with the bass as well haha. It's technically a Fender P but has 2 groups of jazz pickups for a humbucker style set up. Sounds massive!

Re: Fingerpicks...

Both attack and speed can be achieved with fingerstyle, I reckon just work on that!! (I am a bit of a traditionalist though! :p )

Re: Help Buying Fender bass

I presume you mean a re-issue? An original late 50's P would be setting you back around NZ$15,000!

To be fair, I believe those costs are for brand new builds.

Re: So you think you're an OK bass player?

NHOP was quite amazing, most players can't get that kind of dexterity on an electric.....and he does that on upright, crazy.

In that case, AB's 55-10 :) (Althought it'll probably blow out to more than that!)

Re: RWC - All Blacks vs Tonga

I've lost so much interest in rugby over the years, but I'd say All Blacks by 40+

Re: Is this the best performance ever?

No doubt he is a master, but as soon as Gadd turns up in a video all my attention goes there!

I like the fact that you are digging it though, not one of my fave's but a true innovator.
