Re: if someone asks you to play them a song on the bass

How about Geezer Butler's intro solo to "NIB"?

Re: Novice Question

Yea as timi said, personal preference. I myself find DR's very good, they might be a tad more expensive but they sound great and I've found they last quite a bit longer than other brands.

Homemade Delay Pedal

Has anyone had a shot at making your own delay pedal?
I'm looking at building myself one.
Thanks,

Getting a 5 string...

I've been playing the 4 string solidly for about 2yrs now, and I am looking at getting a 5 string as I am writing & playing quite a few songs where a 5er is needed.
Can anyone recommend a good 5 string in the $700-1100 price bracket?

Re: Comment My Pedal Board

Does it matter what order pedals are in if you run them through the effects loop on the amp?

Just got an LTD B50 & it kicks butt! Real nice sound, action & overall a really good bass for the price!

Electro Harmonix Bigg Muff?

How does a Big Muff P.I. sound as a bass distortion?

Re: Battery life on an active

Thanks, I heard that the P/J setup gives it a more distorted tone (Which I wanted).
Yea, a mate of mine has a LTD guitar & it sounds good too.
Nah, it's my second one.
For my next upgrade I plan to just upgrade the pickups, seeing as I like the look & feel of this one.

Re: Battery life on an active

Oh okay, thanks.
It's an ESP LTD B50.
In my opinion, it's got a good sound for the price of $430.
