Neglected 1955 Fender Precision

Post by bronzet » Wed Jun 04, 2014 11:03 am

Check out the Ebay auction for this 1955 Fender Precision - http://www.ebay.com/itm/251525668113?afsrc=1 . The auction has finished, but if you click on 'see original listing' you can see all the close-up/detailed pictures of the bass. Looks like it had been forgotten about and left in a sink full of water for a few decades, then left to dry and decay for a few more. It is painful to see these pictures. Amazing that it sold for over $5000 USD presumably as a restoration project.

Zombie bass! It could be good for swamp rock
But seriously wow, it looks pretty rough alright but cool all the same.
