I had no GAS but dreamt of a half decent lightweight combo,my heavy laney 350 was poos,...but was quite impressed with a couple of last model Rumble combos I used recently (100 and 350)
so I tried the latest Rumble 500 v3 at a wedding on sat night. 350w stand alone or 500w with ext cab.Not too shabby at all and a one hand lift.

The new Fender stuff seems to be ticking a lot of boxes these days. I recently picked up a Fender neo 810 cab to go with the Super Bassman 300 head. Never thought I would get another 810 at my age after lugging around an Ampeg fridge for years and then downsizing, but this cab with its neo speakers is ultra lightweight by comparison and a relatively easy schlep.

I have gas for 1 of Greenboy's Fearless 112 cabs. 1x12, 1x6, 1x 1" compression driver and 900 watts RMS. Over a grand in the US so god knows what it would cost to import one. They have an Eminence 3012LF, a Faital 6" and a Faital comp driver with adjustable crossovers on each, and can tilt back. Loverly jubbly.

+1 on that, Marty. I too have been watching those and waiting for someone like Harley to start making them under license over here. Seems like they need a bit of power to drive them but watts are cheap and physically small these days.

Here's my Kiwi lot

Collection.jpg
Collection2.jpg
Been on the go since my arrival on these fine shores in late 2010

Missing my are my pimped 51 RI Precision and an updated pic of the Dean Cabbie, which now has a set of chrome Gretsch blacktops instead of those nasty stock lumps of black plastic (actually guitar PAF 'buckers)

Just waiting for the Olds to ship my gear from overseas - 13 more basses, 3 six strings, 2 uprights and the walls of noise!

Anyway, this lot seems to be holding me... for now
Fender Precision X 9 (mostly 70's), Jazz, Jaguar,
MM Stingray, Gibson T-Bird, Dean Cabbie, Dano DC Bass
Ampeg Baby Upright
Koffin Bass
Ampeg SVT-CL, Ampeg 8x10
Ampeg B-100R
Ampeg PF rig
Ampeg Micro VR & 210AV
Marshall VBA400 & VBC412(x2)

Here we go again. Some bass porn for y'all. After a somewhat challenging session recently I have developed the theory that my bass playing skills are inversely proportionate to the number of basses I own
Pic 1 - Sadowsky MV4, Fender 60th anniversary P, Fender Custom Shop 59 P, Dingwall Combustion V4 fiver, Warwick Alien
Pic 2 - Fender Jaco artist signature fretless J, Fender 50th anniversary J, Fender 68 J, Fender 63 J, Rickenbacker 4003
